Frequently Asked Questions
We've created this helpful list of frequently asked question in order to help you prepare for your time at Castleton Hills RV Park. If you do not see an answer to your question, please email us and we will respond ASAP.
Do you have wifi?
Yes, we have free wifi available at this time; however, it is not a strong signal and therefore not guaranteed to work at all times.
Can we bring our own firewood?
No. Unfortunately due to the Emerald Ash Borer threatening our forests, we can not allow outside firewood. Firewood is available for purchase in the store.
Can we swim in the pond?
Yes! The pond has a small beach area, and swimming platform for your enjoyment.
Is there a lifeguard on duty?
No. Swimming is at users own risk and children must be supervised at all times.
Can we canoe on the pond?
Yes. There are some paddleboats and canoes available for rent.
Can we bring our own canoe?
Yes.
Can we use fishing boats?
No motorized boats or vehicles of any kind are allowed on the pond.
Are there ATV trails? Can we use ATVs?
No. Due to children playing and using the park no ATV’s are allowed to be used on site. There are hiking and ATV trails offsite nearby.
Can we fish on the pond?
Yes!
Can we keep and eat the fish we catch?
No. It is catch and release only.
Is there 50 amp service?
Not at this time. We offer 30 amp service.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and picked up after.
Is there food available on site?
We have snacks and ice cream available for purchase in the store. There is not a restaurant at this time.
What is the maximum number of tents allowed on a site?
2 small tents or 1 big tent per site. This includes kitchen tents.
